Bike Types

There are many different motorcycles on the market these days, and it can be tough deciding which type of bike is right for you. This is not unique to bikes, and anybody out there who has previously bought a new/used car will be familiar to this.

To make this process a little easier, we have outlined the main categories below so you can figure out which two wheeler you want to be riding for the foreseeable future.

Cruiser – Cruisers are self-explanatory in that you literally lean back with your hands high on the handlebars and cruise. The most typical cruisers are Harley-Davidson bikes.

Touring – Touring bikes are very effective in varying weather conditions and are excellent bikes for covering long distances. If you are not afraid of driving 200 miles in wind and rain, then a touring bike could be for you.

Sport – Sport bikes, as the name suggests, are all about speed and performance. If you want to be able to ride your bike at high speeds but cruise effortlessly through corners with excellent handling, then a sport bike is for you.
